For singer/songwriter, Eli Dan, music is about being honest and acknowledging that everyone is broken in some way but that’s ok.  Through writing lyrics and songs from life experience, the music brings to light the side of life that is usually not spoken about.  To show that even though life might be tough, sometimes there’s beauty in the pain and everything can be beautiful no matter how ugly it may seem.

 With an acoustic foundation and layered with electronic elements, combined with pop melodies, the sound is a mash up between Sara Bareilles and John Mayer with the modern ideas of LAUV and LANY.  Writing the songs in partnership with Danny Hacket (Dan), who brings his folk style roots, teaming up with Elisha Apurado’s (Eli) pop elements, Eli Dan comes together to create the perfect storm of musical brilliance.

Finalist in the 2019 International Song Competition for their debut single, Treading Water, Eli Dan looks to build upon their success in 2021 following up with the release of 3 singles and an upcoming EP in October.  

Their sophomore single Just Another Love Song is a tragic love song that asks the question: ‘is it better to have loved or not have loved at all?’  We’ve all been there before, where you’ve been in love on your own and this song leaves you wondering if this person will ever feel the same way too.
